Amen.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e888343bd73bac6aa4aaca814cdab93c wp-block-paragraph\">There have been many times in my life where I have wondered if what I do makes a difference in this world.\u00a0 After all, I am only one person, going about my day in my one small corner of the world.\u00a0 Yet, just as a pebble cast into a pond makes many ripples, so too do our actions have an effect on the world.\u00a0 Each choice that we make, each thing that we do and word that we say, effects those around us. Then, in turn, their words and actions effect those around them, and on it goes.\u00a0 Even a simple smile or a kind word can affect someone\u2019s day in a meaningful way and get passed on to others throughout the day. Then think how much greater is God\u2019s power to take the things that we say and do and use them for his loving purposes. The Bible says that God is \u201cable to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine\u201d.\u00a0 And so we can trust that God can take these small acts and amplify their effects so that they ripple out into the world in a positive way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center has-white-color has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-968c2f741401381d421c8326f37f5986\">\n\n<strong>Pick up a Pebble<\/strong>\r\nBy Krista Longeway\r\n\r\nDo you ever wonder\r\nIf you make a difference in this world?\r\nDo you ever wonder\r\nIf your efforts are noticed?\r\nBe assured that in time\r\nThe stone that you cast\r\nInto the waters of life\r\nWill create many ripples.\r\nThat somewhere far away\r\nOn a distant shore\r\nThese waves wash up\r\nAnd brush the toes of a child\r\nOr water the roots of a tree \r\nOr guide a boat to shore.\r\nSo pick up a pebble\r\nAnd cast it into the sea of life\r\nYou never know how far the ripples will travel.\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able&nbsp;to do immeasurably more than all we ask&nbsp;or imagine, according to his power&nbsp;that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
