We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ac6c6f7e111a48e1d9a182d882512893 wp-block-paragraph\">This image, of God as the potter and us as the clay, is one that has often helped me puzzle through why difficult things have happened in my life.\u00a0 It helps me to understand that God, in his infinite wisdom and love, is carefully shaping us and molding us into the person that he wants us to be.\u00a0 Our lives are held within his loving hands, and he is guiding us ever closer to becoming more like him.\u00a0 If we allow it, he can use our life experiences to help us grow in strength and wisdom.\u00a0 His gentle hands guide us through both the joyful and the difficult circumstances in life, in a way that helps us to develop into the beautiful vessels that he has designed.\u00a0 Vessels that were designed to hold God\u2019s love and peace which we can pour out to his people in bountiful ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center has-black-color has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-bc0167d41ac2881d084cb3783a403e1c\">\n\n<strong>The Potter and the Clay<\/strong>\r\nBy Krista Longeway\r\n\r\nYou are the potter and we are the clay,\r\nYou mold and shape us throughout every day.\r\nYou guide and form us with your gentle hand,\r\nInto a strong vessel that can withstand,\r\nThe everyday wear and tear of life. \r\nYou use all of the struggles and the strife,\r\nYou use the good and joyful moments too,\r\nTo turn us into someone more like you.\r\nYou are the potter and we are the clay,\r\nYou mold and shape us throughout every day.\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isaiah 64:8 Yet you, LORD, are our Father.
