A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-302d6b80ed0f4958e4e7f1276b792db4 wp-block-paragraph\">We only need to turn on the news to discover that there is much darkness in the world.\u00a0 The world is wide and at times we may feel small in comparison.\u00a0 Without God, this darkness can seem overwhelming.\u00a0 Yet we are called upon to be the light in all this darkness.\u00a0 Our kind words and good deeds have the power to bring light to others when they are in a dark place, and when the world sees the spark of goodness in us, they see evidence of the Lord at work. We don\u2019t always see the many ways that our actions impact others, yet we can trust that the Lord will act through us to bring light and hope to this fallen world.
