I would make a cup of coffee and go to my front room to enjoy the beauty outside our big window that overlooks the beach, and I would write. Each new day felt like a promise that I could start again\u2026and maybe I wouldn\u2019t get it exactly right that day, but I would get another chance to try again each morning when I awoke.
