Though our thoughts have a way of wandering and focusing on regrets of the past or worries about the future, our moment of opportunity is the present moment\u2026 The present is the only time that we have available to make changes and enjoy our lives.\u00a0 The past, whether good or bad, is over.\u00a0 The future is unknown and has yet to occur.\u00a0 But in our present, we are given the opportunity to find joy and meaning in our life.\u00a0 We are invited to live, to love, to laugh and enjoy our time on this earth.\u00a0 This moment, right here, is the only one that we have control over.\u00a0 And so, I encourage you to make the most of the present moment.\u00a0 Be fully present.\u00a0 Put aside your regrets and worries.\u00a0 Focus on what you have the power to enjoy and change right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Forward<\/strong>\r\nBy Krista Longeway\r\n\r\nThe past,\r\nA place I have visited.\r\nMixed memories of sunshine,\r\nAnd of dark valleys,\r\nOf winding paths and gentle winds,\r\nOf stormy nights and rolling thunder.\r\nYet life moves only forward.\r\nThe future,\r\nFull of promise. \r\nMorning\u2019s light peeking above the horizon\r\nAnd painting the sky with light.\r\nThe present, \r\nA moment of opportunity,\r\nWhere I love,\r\nWhere I laugh,\r\nWhere I find life. \r\nAn opportunity \r\nFor joy\u2026\r\nMoving forward.\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I move through my life, I am frequently reminded that we live in the present.
