In a world filled with uncertainty, what is the rock you build your life upon? These truths make up the core values that we teach our children.\u00a0 So, if you were to teach them only one thing, what would that be?\u00a0 My answer to this question is this: I would teach my children that they are cared for by a loving God.\u00a0 All the goodness, kindness, and love that is within us is rooted in this one simple truth. And in response, we love our God. And I hope that in knowing this to be true, my children are inspired to love others.\u00a0 This is, after all, what Jesus called us to do.\u00a0 It is the heart of Christianity and told throughout the New Testament\u2026 a call to love God and to love one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One Simple Truth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You are loved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">By a faithful God who knows your true heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">He has been right beside you from the start<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">He has loved and guided you as you grew<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">To be more than you ever planned or knew<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You are loved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">So, with thanks, we return this love in kind<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">By loving God with heart, soul, strength and mind<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Wherever we go he is never far<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">So we love our God with all that we are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You are loved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Through this we are inspired to love others<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">All our neighbors, friends, sisters, and brothers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">We look deep inside to see what is good<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">And put aside what is not understood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You are loved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">So whenever you meet your darkest day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">At a time when all else is stripped away<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">I hope you always know this to be true<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You are known and loved by God who made you<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What do you know to be true?\u00a0 Deep in your heart, what are you certain of?
