{"id":769,"date":"2022-09-22T13:16:58","date_gmt":"2022-09-22T13:16:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/?p=769"},"modified":"2022-11-20T03:14:33","modified_gmt":"2022-11-20T03:14:33","slug":"seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/?p=769","title":{"rendered":"Seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Seasons-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Seasons-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Seasons-980x980.jpg 980w, https:\/\/krista.longeway.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Seasons-480x480.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-black-color has-text-color\">When I take a step back from my life, I see the changes of my life mirrored in the life of a tree.&nbsp; As the world turns, the tree is transformed from one season to the next.&nbsp; Summer fading into fall and frosty winters melting into the new life of spring.&nbsp; And on it goes, life giving way to death, only to be reborn again, in a never ending cycle of growth and beauty.&nbsp; Yet through all of these changes, whether we are in a season of joy or sorrow, our eternal God remains the same.&nbsp; He is there, listening to our prayers and directing the seasons and changes from above\u2026.watching over us with gentle grace and love.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">I am never more aware of the changing of the seasons than I am in the fall.&nbsp; It is a new school year for me, with new faces, new routines, new worries and new celebrations.&nbsp; As green leaves of summer fade to red and gold I feel the change in the air like a living presence.&nbsp; A reminder that the old year is gone and something new and different is just beginning.
