Most of the time, I am grateful for the mild climate here in Victoria \u2013 the short winters, the warmth of an early spring, the long summers and the beauty of fall. \u00a0This is part of the reason we chose to live by the ocean. \u00a0Yet every year I hope that we receive at least a little bit of snow around the holidays.\u00a0 So today, as I watch the snow softly fall from the sky, I count my many blessings. Today I put aside the busyness of the season and pause to enjoy the beauty of a snowy winter\u2019s night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background:linear-gradient(135deg,rgb(2,2,32) 0%,rgb(40,116,252) 100%)\">\n\n<strong>Snowfall in the Moonlight<\/strong>\r\nBy Krista Longeway\r\n\r\nI gaze out my window with pure delight\r\nAs fluffy snow falls through the night\r\nDrifting gracefully in the waning light\r\nTiny snowflakes, glittering white\r\nI think to myself as I watch their flight\r\nThere\u2019s no more beautiful a sight\r\nThan that of snow falling in the moonlight\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is nearly Christmas, and miraculously, we have been blessed by a winter storm that will give us the white Christmas we had hoped for.
