On a clear night, when the moon is full, you can see the round face of the moon reflected in the dark waters below. It is amazing to think that the moon, which seems so far away, has the power to pull this vast body of water towards herself and direct the tides. Many times in my thoughts and dreams I have travelled down to the water in the light of a full moon. In these moments I imagine her as a wise and gentle queen who sees all from her place in the sky above. She gracefully reaches her hand down to the water and touches the sea, turning it to liquid silver. To see something so rare and beautiful changes your heart in a powerful way, as you hold this beauty in your dreams and memories. Is there a place in nature that you like to return to that touches your heart?
Where the Moon Touches the Sea By Krista Longeway In my dreams I have found a secret place Where the full moon gently touches the sea The soft glow of her beautiful round face Silently lighting the way home for me She is the true queen of the skies at night Reaching across the sea with gentle grace Shining like liquid silver, her bright light Reflects gently off the water’s surface Her reflection shimmering and dancing Across the swell of the waves far from shore The distant song of the sea entrancing My own heart has been changed forevermore
